Automatic Payment Notifications
For payments that your guests make online through the Tripleseat Payments, Stripe, Fiserv, or Square integration, the payment notifications will be sent as follows:
- If a GUEST pays through the portal, that will trigger a notification for the Contact who submitted the payment and for the Tripleseat users who are set as the Event Owner or Manager.
- If a USER runs an authorized card from the Tripleseat Payments tab, that will trigger a notification for the Contact who authorized the credit card and to the user who ran the card (as long as they haven't turned off notifications in My Profile).
- If a USER enters the credit card information and charges the card, that will trigger a notification for the Primary Contact.
Enable Payment Notifications for All Events
If you are not the Owner or Manager of the event in question in Tripleseat, you will not get the online payment notifications listed above. If you want to receive all Payment Notifications for a location, you can follow the steps outlined below:
- Navigate to Settings > Discussion Email Notifications.
- Click Edit. If there is more than one location, you will want to complete this for any locations you want to receive Payment Notifications for.
- Check the box for "Payment Comments" in the row that has your name.
Then make sure that your payment notifications are turned on in My Profile > Notifications. To mute the Online Payments notifications, simply select “None” from the dropdown next to “Online Payments.”
