This article discusses how to create an internal Lead for Tripleseat Hotel users. First, let's understand what a lead is. A lead is a basic inquiry that has not yet been qualified. It could be a guest calling for information and availability, an online inquiry from your website, or a referral from someone at the front desk.
There are multiple areas where leads can be entered and managed. Today, we will focus on the "New Leads" button.
A corporate Group has reached about a 3-day stay that requires Event space and Guestrooms, and we need to enter them internally as a Lead.
First, Click on the "New Lead" button at the top right corner of your Tripleseat screen.
Now, Fill in your Personal and Booking Details. *Remember, The Booking date range dictates the timeframe that you can add multiple Events and Guestroom nights for your group.
Next, fill in the individual event details, you have the flexibility to add one or more events using the "Add Event" button, and you can always add more later.
Filling in Guestroom details will give a quick reference when building a Group Block later
It's important to add reportable Lead Details and any additional information to refer back to
Once you have qualified the inquiry, you can select the "Convert This Lead" button in the blue box at the top of the lead. In most cases, you will convert it into a booking, which will create the booking account and contact simultaneously.
