The Tripleseat calendar displays events. Events have a defined start and end time and a max duration of 24 hours. By clicking on an event, you can preview more relevant event information in a popup window.
This article explains how to filter the calendar in Tripleseat. Calendar filters will only impact you and will not adjust the calendar display for other users at your group. Once you set calendar filters, those will stick on the page for future visits until you return back to Filters and click Clear Filters.
To filter the calendar, you will want to:
- Go to Calendar.
- Click Filters.
- In the popup, you may filter by:
Status
You have the option to filter calendar events by their status. This option is most effective if you and your team agree on how you define those statuses and update your events accordingly. (Here is an article about recommended status definitions.) Then if you filter the calendar by Definite events, for instance, you will know that the events you see all have a signed contract and a paid deposit for instance.
Location / Room
This allows you to filter by the venue where the event takes place along with more specific areas within a venue.
Owner
This allows you to filter by the person in charge of that event in Tripleseat. Perhaps you only want to see events that you are in charge of.
Event Style
This allows you to filter events based on whether the event is on premise or off premise. - You may also change the coloring schematic under Color By so that events display colored by:
Room
Location
Status
Style - Advanced Filters.
These advanced filter options can come in handy if you have access to many locations in Tripleseat and you need to find a needle in a haystack. You can filter for events so you only see events that belong to a multi-event booking. You can filter based on the event Guest Count, F&B Minimum, and the document set used for the event in question.
You may also filter by Custom Field. You may choose the Custom Field option if you only want to see events where a custom field has a given answer.
When you are done filtering the page, remember to clear filters so that the next time you visit you see all events visible to you, not just those that fit the search criteria.
