Tripleseat itself is not PCI compliant. That means we cannot directly store credit card or bank information safely on our platform. However, Tripleseat customers may opt to integrate with a third-party payment processing platform. Those third-party businesses will provide form fields in the Tripleseat Guest Portal where your guests may authorize their credit card or ACH information so as to pay online. That way, you can easily request and process payment from the event in Tripleseat, and the third-party processor would be the one to protect card data and transfer the funds between you and your guests. Those companies are PCI compliant and will encrypt any data so that it stays protected while online.
