The Food & Beverage Minimum is a line that can live in the billing widget of your documents. It communicates a minimum spend to your guest, works as a merge field in your docs and emails, and can even be set up to add cost to your event.
If you would like to make it so that, every time you create documents for an event, the Food & Beverage Minimum appears as a line in the billing widget automatically, please follow the below instructions.
- Go to Settings> Docs> Contract & Event Order (Edit Template Content).
- Scroll to the billing widget.
- Click Add a Field> F&B Minimum.
*If you would like, you can adjust the verbiage of that line by clicking into the new field and changing the text.
- Click 'Save Template' in the upper left.
This update will not add the Food and Beverage Minimum to the billing widget of event docs that have already been created. However, it will mean that all future documents you create from this template will have that line in the widget by default. *Pro Tip: The F&B Minimum is managed from the billing widget of your document template. That means, if you have multiple document sets, you will need to update the billing widget of each one to set up the F&B minimum as you need.
