This report will allow you to view and analyze detailed Booking information, including Billing Details and Menu Item Category totals. To do this, follow the steps below:
- Head to Reports > Booking Details Report > Custom > Customize. The ‘Customize Your Report’ screen will populate, where you can refine your search further!
- On the Booking Details tab, click into the Booking Start Date or End Date fields to set the timeframe of bookings that you’d like to include in your results and select ‘Definite’ under Status. You may also refine this further by selecting a location or owner.
- Pro Tip: The more filters added on the Booking Details tab, the fewer results will populate. Start with a broader report and make more refinements as needed. This ensures you get as many results as possible.
- Next, select the Columns tab. This is where you can select what information from the bookings you would like to see.
- Under Column Groups, select Financials. Here, select Booking Actual, Booking Grand Total, Amount Due, and any additional fields you wish to report on.
- Continuing under Column Groups, select Item Category. Select the Menu Item Categories you wish to see totals from, such as Food, Beverage, and Labor Totals.
- Lastly, under Column Groups, select Billing Category. Select the Billing Details you would like to see the totals of, such as Sales Tax, Gratuity, or Admin Fee.
- After making all your selections, you can drag and drop the selected columns on the right side, under Selected Columns, to rearrange the order of the fields or quickly remove an option.
- Click Run Report.
- If you wish to further adjust the columns, add or remove filters, or make any other changes, click back into ‘Customize’ in the upper left.
Once you have the report as you’d like, you can click “Save” in the upper right corner to save it to your reports section in Tripleseat. Additionally, you can click Export to download the report as a file outside of Tripleseat.
