In Tripleseat, there are many options for reporting customization, which can help users search for specific information. If you are looking for a way to report on which events were made definite within a specific date range and analyze detailed event information, such as billing and menu item category totals, please look at the steps detailed below.
- Head to Reports > Event Details Report > Custom > Customize. The ‘Customize Your Report’ screen will populate, where you can refine your search further!
- On the Event Details tab, click into the Definite Date field to enter the date or date range you would like to report on. This will show events that were made definite on the entered date or date range. You may also filter further by event owner or event location on this page.
- Pro Tip: The more selections made on the Event Details tab, the fewer results will populate. Start with a broader report and make more refinements as needed. This ensures you get as many results as possible.
- Next, select the Columns tab. This is where you can select what information from the events you would like to see.
- Under Column Groups, select Financials. Here, select Event Actual, Event Grand Total, Amount Due, and any additional fields you wish to report on.
- Continuing under Column Groups, select Item Category. Select the Menu Item Categories you wish to see totals from, such as Food, Beverage, and/or Labor Totals.
- After making all your selections, you can drag and drop the selected columns on the right side, under Selected Columns, to rearrange the order of the fields or quickly remove an option.
- Click Run Report.
- If you wish to further adjust the columns, add or remove filters, or make any other changes, click back into ‘Customize’ in the upper left.
Once you have the report as you’d like, you can click “Save” in the upper right corner to save it to your reports section in Tripleseat. Additionally, you can click Export to download the report as a file outside of Tripleseat.
