Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is required for Customer Admins to keep your Tripleseat account secure.
Two-factor Authentication protects all sensitive areas of your Tripleseat account. If the wrong person gains access, critical settings and tools can be misused, impacting your events, your team, and your customers.
By requiring a verification code, 2FA ensures that even if someone guesses or steals your password, they cannot access your account without your approval. This quick step dramatically reduces the risk of compromise.
CAN I DISABLE 2FA?
If you’d prefer not to enable 2FA, you can switch to a limited version of the Admin role. This option still allows you to manage events and payments, but removes access to highly sensitive areas such as:

Settings > Online Payments (used for adding or adjusting payment processors)

Settings > User Roles (used for updating access for each user role)
