Learn how to add photos to showcase your rooms, packages, items, and additional offerings. This visual preview helps guests make informed selections when completing a Direct Book form for your venue.
Adding Images to Packages and Items
- Navigate to Settings > Documents and Menus > Menus > Packages or Items tab.
- Click “Edit” using the gear icon or directly select the menu item or package you want to add an image to.
- Scroll to the bottom of the Edit Item page and locate the image uploader.
- Select the image you would like to upload.
- Recommended image size: 16:9 aspect ratio, greater than 800 x 450 pixels.
- Crop the image if needed.
- If cropping is unnecessary, click “Upload” under the “Crop” section.
- If cropping is required, click “Confirm Crop” after making adjustments.
- Click “Upload” once satisfied with the image selection.
- Select “Update” to save the changes to the menu item or package.
Adding Images to Rooms
- Navigate to Settings > Venue Marketplace and select “Edit” next to your venue.
- Scroll to the Areas, Facilities, or Rooms section to set up rooms.
- Ensure that:
- The Facility or Room Name field is completed.
- An Associated Room is selected. This is directly linked to rooms in Settings > Locations > Rooms.
- Scroll up to the Photos section and upload images.
- Select a photo and use the Room (Optional) dropdown to associate the image with a specific room.
- Example: If the Facility/Room Name is Patio, and its Associated Room is also Patio, selecting Patio in the Room (Optional) dropdown ensures the image is linked to the correct room.
- If multiple images are associated with a room, the first image in the list is displayed on the form.
Note: The Venue Marketplace listing does not need to be enabled for images to appear in the Direct Book Form.
Previewing Images in the Direct Book Form
After adding photos to items, packages, and rooms, open the live page of your Direct Book Form to verify that images are displaying correctly. Images can be updated at any time, and regular monitoring ensures they remain visible to guests.
Room Image Display
- When guests expand the dropdown to select a room, thumbnail images appear in a grid format above the room name, capacity, and description.
- The name, capacity, and description continue to be sourced from Settings > Locations > Rooms.
- If at least one room has an associated image, the dropdown displays rooms in a grid format.
- If a room does not have an image, a “No Image Provided” graphic appears instead.
- If no rooms contain images, the dropdown defaults to the original list view.
Note: Room descriptions on the form populate from Settings > Locations > Edit Rooms.
