If a menu isn’t appearing on your Direct Book form, a few settings may need to be reviewed. Follow the steps below to ensure everything is configured correctly.
1. Confirm the Menu Is Added to the Direct Book Form
Menus must be added to a Direct Book form in order to be visible to guests.
- Navigate to Settings.
- Select Direct Book Forms.
- Click the gear icon next to the form you’d like to update and select Edit.
- Scroll to the Menus section.
- Select the menu you’d like to make available.
- Click Update to save your changes.
- Once saved, the menu will be available on the selected form.
2. Verify Event Styles
Next, confirm that the menu is enabled for the appropriate event styles.
- Navigate to Settings > Menus.
- Click the gear icon next to the menu and select Edit.
- Review the Event Styles section.
- Ensure the correct event styles are selected.
- Click Update to save your changes.
3. Check Location Settings
Menus, packages, and items must be assigned to the correct location in order to appear.
For the menu:
- Navigate to Settings > Menus.
- Click the gear icon next to the menu and select Edit.
- Confirm the correct Location is selected.
For packages or items on the menu:
- Navigate to the Packages or Items tab.
- Click the gear icon next to the package or item and select Edit.
- Ensure the appropriate Location(s) are applied.
- Save your changes.
4. Review Meal Periods (If Enabled)
If meal periods are enabled on your account, make sure the menu is assigned to the correct meal periods.
- Navigate to Settings > Menus.
- Click the gear icon next to the menu and select Edit.
- Review the Meal Period settings.
- Update as needed and click Update.
