To create a new ticketed event directly from the Tripleseat event, you will follow these steps:
1. Create a new event in Tripleseat or navigate to an existing one:
2. Access the event with the Tickets icon on the right-hand side of the page:
3. Create a synced event in the Tickets portal:
4. Fill out the Event Details page (Event > General > Details):
- Add an event description
- Add thumbnail photo for portal website
5. Set Milestone date ranges for different price points, if applicable (Event > General > Dates):
6. Adjust point of contact information (Event > General > Contact):
7. Update the event’s site content by replacing placeholder fields with relevant event information and photos (Website > Design & Content > Site Content):
Placeholders that need to be adjusted:
- Background image
- Event name, location, and date
- About the event image, title, and description
- More information images and text
8. Create total event capacity and enable group registration (Registration > General > Options):
9. Customize registration display messages (Registration > General > Options):
10. Create tickets (Registration > Build > Tickets):
--- Fill out ticket name, description, capacity, and display order priority.
11. Set price for pass and milestone dates (Registration > Build > Tickets):
12. Create a registration form (Registration > Build > Registration Forms):
- First and last names and email are pre-populated
- Additional form components can be added to the form
13. Edit the confirmation screens and messages (Registrations > Build > Confirmations):
14. Once you have previewed the site, click on the Website tab to publish the event site and open registration.
