Events Data Import
This article will outline the required fields and best practices for our Tripleseat support members to upload contact and account data into Tripleseat software successfully.
Event Headers:
Listed below are the required and acceptable headers for an event import.
- Name - required
- Date - required
- date format: MM/DD/YY OR MM/DD/YYYY
- Start_time - required
- ex. 1:30 PM
- End_time - required
- ex. 1:30 PM
- Status - required
- Definite
- Tentative
- Prospect
- Closed
- Lost
- Room - required if eventstyle is onpremise & must exist in the current account
- Location - required
- Must match the location’s name exactly
- Owner - required
- Must match an existing user on the account
- Contact_full_name - required
- can be used in place of first_name & Last_name
- Contact_first_name - required
- Contact_last_name - required
- Can use contact_first_name & contact_last_name in place of Contact_full_name
- Account - required
- If left blank, importer will use the contact name to create a new account

Best Practices and Tips:
*If you would like to import data in the Additional Information text field of Tripleseat, please use the header titled ‘Description.’
*If there is an event with more than one room, please separate the rooms using a comma (,) within that cell.
