This article reviews best practices when managing your Tripleseat Hotel Lead Forms.
A Hotel Booking lead form allows customers to include multiple events and room block needs when filling out the form. We strongly encourage all customers to put their Tripleseat lead form on their website to quickly capture leads that integrate into their Tripleseat site.
Here is an example of an embedded lead form on a venue's website. When prospective clients fill out this form, the leads will appear in the new lead section of the dashboard on your Tripleseat site and display the Lead Source.
Here are some quick and helpful edits you can make to customize your lead form.
Go to: Settings > Lead Forms > Booking Forms
- Customize the verbiage in the Page Setup section, for example, adjust the “Example Booking text” to match the types of groups you most typically host
- Customize The Message Displayed After Filling out the Form.
This will be the pop-up message your prospective clients see when they hit submit - Redirect inquiring clients to a specific page on your website after completing the form to help upsell your F&B or activities.
In the middle of the form, you can change any of the required information. If you are a hotel with guestroom blocks, make sure to include that information. You can also allow clients to indicate if their dates are flexible.
The lead source is important to know where the lead came from. For the web page form, the lead source is the Tripleseat web lead. If you want to create additional forms, you can change the lead source by creating a new lead form. For example, if you want to create a campaign specifically for LinkedIn, you can name the form, select the applicable properties, customize the verbiage and pop-up, and indicate the required fields. In the lead source section, change it to "LinkedIn" and hit "Create."
In the lead source section, change it to "LinkedIn" and hit "Create."
Once the form is created, you can review it by clicking "View Live Page." You can copy and paste the URL link into your LinkedIn posts as a live link that prospective customers can fill out. When the leads come into your Tripleseat site, you can see them in the new lead section on the dashboard, and the lead source will indicate the LinkedIn marketing campaign.
If your web developer needs codes for any of your lead forms, you can retrieve them under Settings > Lead Forms > View All Setup Codes. This will provide hosted and embedded codes for each lead form you have created.
