When a Direct Book event is submitted, an Owner for the event is assigned. Without any configuration, this will default to the User listed as the 'Site Owner'. The Site Owner is usually a Customer Admin that was involved in the Tripleseat Site's creation. However, this can be configured to another user on the site easily. This article will serve as a guide on making this update.
First, head to Settings > Locations.
From here, click 'edit details' on the Direct Book location you would like to change the Default owner for.
Once on the Location Editor, scroll down to the TripleseatDirect section, right above 'Lead Notifications'
Here, you will see an option for 'Default Owner for Direct Book Events' with a drop-down. Select the desired user to be the default owner, and click 'save'.
Going forward, the selected user will be assigned as the Default owner for Direct Book Events submitted for that location.
