Applies to properties on the Mews integration. No setup is needed on the property's end.
Why were my double, triple, and quad pickup numbers always zero?
Before this update, the integration only recorded single-occupancy pickup, and it counted service orders instead of reading each reservation's real occupancy. That is why double, triple, and quad always showed zero, even at properties with guests booked at those levels.
Now the integration reads real occupancy from each reservation and fills in all four columns on the guest room grid.
What to expect:
- Double, triple, and quad columns now populate where they used to read zero. This is the fix, not a problem.
- Single pickup may also shift a little, since it now comes from reservation occupancy rather than service-order counts.
- Overall totals stay consistent. The change adds visibility, it does not change the total.
Will a room type change made in Mews show up in Tripleseat?
Yes. If a reservation is moved to a different room type than the original block, that room type now shows pickup in the blocked and booked columns of the guest room block.
A change made in Mews didn't appear right away. Is that expected?
It should catch up on its own. If a change arrives while a sync is already running, it gets picked up on a follow-up recompute once that sync finishes.
