Copying an existing picklist can be a convenient way to make updates without affecting current items. For example, if you need to adjust pricing for the upcoming year but want to retain existing pricing for the remainder of the current year, creating a copy allows you to modify only the duplicated version.
To copy a picklist, follow these steps:
- Go to Settings and select Picklists.
- Find the picklist you want to duplicate.
- Hover over the gear icon and choose Copy to the right of that picklist.
The copied picklist will appear at the bottom of the list, where you can make adjustments without altering the original. This approach saves time and preserves any existing information that may still be needed.
