Organizing your event floor plan can be made easier by efficiently managing table numbers. Here are three methods to change table numbers in a 2D layout:
Method 1: Click to Number
This method lets you quickly renumber multiple tables by simply clicking on them in your desired order.
- Click the Seating Tab: Begin by navigating to the "Seating" tab in your interface.
- Click Tables: Select the "Tables" option to access table management tools.
- Click to Number: Choose the "Click to Number" feature.
- Select Tables in Order: Click on each table in the sequence you want them numbered.
- Stop Numbering: Once you’re done, choose the option to stop numbering.
Note: If you assign a table number that already exists, the numbers will be swapped between the tables.
Method 2: Renumber from Tables List
You can input table numbers directly into the tables list for a more direct approach.
- Click the Seating Tab: Open the "Seating" tab.
- Click Tables: Select the "Tables" option.
- Input Numbers: Enter the desired numbers into the text box next to each table icon.
Method 3: Individually Change One Table Number
To change the number of a single table, follow these steps:
- Select the Table: Click on the table whose number you want to change.
- Click "Add Label": In the actions menu, select the "Add Label" button.
- Input the Number: Enter the new number into the provided text box.
Additional Customization
You can also use letters for special designations, such as "Head Table" (e.g., HT, HT1, HT2) or "Sweetheart" (e.g., SH). Up to three characters are allowed for table labels. Moreover, you can add full labels, such as "VIP", "Parents", or "Cousins," for further identification.
