Overview
Google Tag Manager is a Tag Management System (TMS) that provides capabilities to track analytics and measurement tag data by adding the customer’s GTM codes within an application, such as Tripleseat. Once this has been implemented, the Tripleseat application will then use this tag or code to communicate with the Tag Manager servers.
Integrating Tripleseat with GTM

Please reach out to support@tripleseat.com with the following details and a member of our Support team will be happy to assist:
- Your unique GTM Code, which will be in the GTM-XXXX format
- Please note, Tripleseat Supports only one tag per Lead Form.
- The name, description, and/or link of the Lead Form the code should be added to.
For Embedded Forms:
Please contact your Web Development team to implement the GTM code(s) within your website.
Please Note: TripleseatDirect forms do not currently support GTM Tracking
Working with Tripleseat
When a tag or code has been added to a Lead Form within a Tripleseat account, it will sync to the customer’s Google Analytics, Ads, or Tag Manager setup, which is a third-party application that operates outside of Tripleseat. This code will work on the "Thank you" page of a Lead Form to pass the `lead_id` in the GTM data-layer so it can be used for tracking things like campaign performance, conversions, etc.
The Tag Manager's user interface can be used to to set up these initial tags as describved above, as well as establish triggers that cause your tag to fire when certain events occur. Variables can also be used to simplify and automate these tag configurations. More information on triggers and variables can be found in the Google links in the Footers of this article.
