How to add photos to TripleseatDirect items and packages

To make your TripleseatDirect form more compelling, you may wish to include photos of the items available for purchase. This article walks through how you may add those photos to items and packages in Tripleseat.

Add Photos to the File Library

Before you can link the photos to the items, first you must upload those image files to Tripleseat. To do this, you should: 

1. Go to Settings> File Library. 
   
   
   
   
2. Click 'Upload to Library.' If you do not already have a folder just for images, click 'Create Folder.' Give the folder a name, and select the locations where it should be available. 
   
   
   
   
3. Click 'Click or Drag/Drop files to Upload.' Find and select the image from your computer. You will get an upload confirmation message when the file has finished uploading to the folder.  
   
   
   
   
4. Repeat Steps 1 - 3 until you have uploaded all images. 

Copy the Image Links 
The next step is to copy the photo link from the File Library. 

1. Go to Settings> File Library> name of the folder you have just created.
   
   
2. Click on the download button for the image. That will open the image in another tab. The URL of that image will look something like this:

   Everything after the question mark is specific to you as a user. So only copy the URL up through the question mark.

Add the Image Link to the TripleseatDirect Item

The final step is to paste the link of the photo into the TripleseatDirect item to which it belongs. 

1. Go to Settings> Menu Items (or Packages if you'd like to add photos to the package)> Item Name.
   
   
   
   
2. Scroll to the Public Description field. Click on the Insert Image icon (it looks like a mountain). Paste the URL of the photo into the Image Web Link field.
   
   
   
   
3. Click Update at the bottom to save. 
   
   
   
   
4. Repeat Steps 1 - 3 to link images to as many items as you desire. Going forward, if those items appear on a TripleseatDirect Form, the item will show with the photo inserted into the Public Description field.
