What is the Difference Between a Contact and Account?

A contact is the guest or point of contact on the event or booking (person), while the account is the organization or company that is linked to that contact. For example, Ally Dettorre with Tripleseat booked a Holiday Party with our venue. In that case, Ally would be my contact, while the account would be Tripleseat. Pro Tip: Both contact and account are needed to create an event or booking.
